LNJ get to know …

In honor of Valentine's Day, this week we interview LNJ's own sweetheart, Sharon Murr. This interview was conducted by email, just like the others so far. (We're pretty sure we heard her laughing as she read the questions … and a certain 'jerk' comment). Without further ado, here she is … Sharon Murr.

First, Sharon, can you tell us what you've been up to and where can people go to find more about you?

I'm more into talking, not typing, so I guess if people wanna know they can get it from your website.

You performed with Liberty n' Justice in 2000 for Pat Marchand and Justin Murr's reunion tour. What do you remember most about these concerts? Have any stories?

The funniest story was the time that our 2-year-old (now 7), was whining and carrying on during a sound check at one of our concerts. You took her out to the car to spank her or something, and on the way she was desperately begging the people who passed by "PLEASE HELP ME! PLEASE HELP ME!" :)

You and Justin have been married for over 7 years. After he released "Forever Till The End," you said "Okay, no more!" Then after "Bargain Bin" in 2000, you put your foot down and said "That's it!" Then 2004 brought "Welcome to The Revolution" and he is working on a new album even now. Do you still wish Justin would put away "his boyhood dreams?" How do you feel about LnJ right now?

I've changed my feelings on that somewhat. I don't think a person should have to put his dreams on a shelf just because he gets married and has kids. You're extremely talented at writing songs and dealing with the business side. Just because you can't carry a tune to save your life doesn't mean you should give up on hearing someone musically talented sing them. :)

You have "Welcome To The Revolution" in your CD case. What songs do you like most? What are your real thoughts about this CD and what did you think of the rap?

My favorite songs are numbers 1, 2, 3, and 6. The CD is awesome for the most part, the rap stinks, and the production is a bit weak on a few songs. I guess maybe you should've taken my suggestions more seriously. :) Just kidding … sorta. I love it!

If you could change three things about Justin what would you change?

I'm pleading the 5th.

Describe a day in the life of Sharon Murr.

Nice try …

Okay, okay, we've got to ask … when different singers call the Murr household, why do you give them a hard time? For example, you asked Leif Garrett why he was on that dating show; you asked MC Hammer "Who are you?"; and you asked Michael Sweet if he was in the bumblebee band.

Leif Garrett deserved that for being on that queer dating show! I knew who Hammer was. Who's the bumblebee band?

Name the 3 highest points and the 3 lowest points of your life to date.

Highest points: First, gettin' saved … oh yeah! Second, marrying you. Third, having Paige and Torrie.

Lowest points: First, working for Kirby (no offense Tate … I obviously couldn't handle it). Second, getting hooked on cocaine. Third, working for Kirby again.

Lance Gehl told us in an interview last week that you are actually the brains behind this whole thing. So, is this true?

No, but I am the brains behind you …

You have two daughters, Trinity and Katorina. Are you planning on anymore kids?

You've finally talked me into one more … but this time you're gonna have to change diapers or it's goin' back!

What do you believe, spiritually speaking?

Every single last word in the Holy Bible!

We have heard you have a speeding problem. Has this problem been solved?

I'm working on it.

Tell us the last time that …
